Description

This session will discuss the benefits of prehab and rehab with a focus on improving patient’s quality of life through their cancer treatment and into survivorship.

Learning Objectives:
  • Define prehab and rehab.
  • Discuss the process of assessing a patient’s functional status and following them through the cancer continuum.
  • Explore, through a case study, how incorporating rehabilitation services improve patient outcomes/quality of life.
