Description
Course participants will discuss the emerging treatment paradigm in lung cancer. Nurse and patient navigators will discuss comprehensive early detection including evolving screening guidelines and biomarker testing within the lung cancer continuum from prevention, diagnosis, treatment, to survivorship. Case examples and best practices will be shared to enrich educational needs of participants.

- Understand the need for lung cancer screening and pulmonary incidental finding nodule identification
- Discuss the recent updates in USPSTF Guidelines and CMS Coverage Determination
- Review the underlying need for biomarker testing and its impact on making an accurate diagnosis
